Matthew Harmon is a guest character/semi-main character on Fuller House.
Matt is the son of D.J.'s retiring boss Fred Harmon. He is a veterinarian, like his father and D.J., who lived in Miami, FL prior to Fuller House where he ran his own veterinary clinic. Along with D.J., he was formerly the co-owner of Harmon-Fuller Pet Care, the newly renamed clinic his father owned before retiring.
However, shortly after he proposes to D.J., she broke up with him in Japan during Steve's almost wedding to CJ. Shortly after Matt leaves Harmon Fuller Pet Care to start his own pet clinic two blocks down from D.J's called Harmon Better Pet Care. In Season 4 he begins a relationship with Gia. Matt and Gia eventually get married in season 5.
He is portrayed by John Brotherton.

- Matt is Steve Hale's temporary rival as they both wish to date D.J.. However, in the Season 1 finale, D.J. tells them that she's not ready to date yet.
- It is revealed that Matt has a dog named Rusty in "Love is in the Air".
- Matt used to be an underwear model before he was a vet.[1]
- Matt and Gia's wedding was not shown on camera.
- He was shown to be sore about the incidents in Japan until A Sense of Purpose where he talks to Danny Tanner about it.
