Fernando Hernandez-Guerrero-Fernandez-Guerrero, Zarro by Gia Mahan,[1] is a character on Fuller House. He is the (former ex-husband and fiance/husband) husband of Kimmy Gibbler, and the father of Ramona Gibbler.

He is portrayed by Juan Pablo Di Pace.

A young Fernando.

Fernando married Kimberly Louise 'Kimmy' Gibbler sometime after the Full House series finale episode, Michelle Rides Again (Part 2), however they have since separated. It is unknown how long the two were married before their daughter, Ramona was born, or how long they have been separated, but it is revealed in "Our Very First Show, Again" that Fernando cheated on Kimmy multiple times with multiple women.

Fernando is still in love with her and was engaged to marry her three times.

Kimmy Gibbler (Wife)

Fernando is Kimmy Gibbler's race car driving ex-husband/fiancé. He and Kimmy are separated due to his unfaithfulness to her. Fernando begins to miss her and tries to win her back. It works, but he ends up finally signing their divorce papers. He only does this to re-propose, which she accepts. Fernando retires from his racing career, and moves in. Ten months after moving in, he buys her childhood home and moves in with her brother. Fernando and Kimmy get remarried in the series finale.

Ramona Gibbler (Daughter)

Fernando and Ramona seem to have a loving relationship. In Season 3, Fernando tried to convince her to move into the new Gibbler Home he created.

Trivia

  • Prior to his current occupation as a race car driver, Fernando was a women's hairdresser - which is how he and Kimmy first met.
  • At the beginning of Season 2, he moved into the Fuller-Tanner-Gibbler house
  • His daughter Ramona was born a week before his wedding
  • At the beginning of Season 3, he moved into the Gibbler home he built and his new roommate is Jimmy Gibbler.
  • Max is not fond of him.
  • Fernando along with Jimmy, Steve, Nicky and Alex are the only main characters to not have a episode focus on them.
