"DJ and Kimmy's High School Reunion" (Fuller House)
Duane is the boyfriend of Kimmy Gibbler in the eight season of Full House noted for his inability to say anything other than "Whatever" (his recurring phrase) to anyone, including Kimmy, though in the finale episode "Michelle Rides Again, Part 2" he is able to quote Shakespeare, which he is passionate about. Kimmy and Duane almost elope in Vegas out of fear that she will lose D.J. if they go to different colleges.
Duane makes a reappearance in the episode "DJ and Kimmy's High School Reunion", where he is shown to be more talkative and has turned his "whatever" catchphrase into his mantra as a motivational speaker. He helps to motivate Kimmy (who is down because the reunion has been a disaster for her) to embrace the jokes and enjoy her prom. After she kisses him on the cheek in gratitude, he reverts back to his old personality and is unable to say anything other than "whatever".
